Born to a ceramicist, Thomas was exposed to art at a very young age. After pursuing his studies in Mechanical Engineering at MCAST and obtaining a Higher National Diploma, he decided to return to art and design. Thomas obtained a Diploma in Design Foundation Studies in 2014, a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Arts in 2017 and a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts in 2019 at University of Malta. Throughout the years, Thomas has experimented with various materials, and currently focuses mostly on sculpture and lens-based media. His first exhibition was entitled ‘Deceit’ which took place at VGB Art in Valletta in September 2016. It consisted of a series of nudes. Later on, he had his second exhibition entitled ‘Self’ which formed part of his thesis for the BFA in Digital Arts course. ‘Self’ took place at Marie Gallery 5 in Mosta in May 2017. Thomas has also participated in various collective shows along the years.
